Ansell LED panel

Put anything here that's badly designed/made, failed, catastrophically exploded or just an epic fail in a general sort of way.

Depends if they've used metal fire cable retaining clips within it or not. If not then yes, totally illegal.

Alas, not on there or I'd be telling them what I think of their 'upgrade'

How can they make LED backlit monitors and TV's so reliable but LED lighting panels so rubbish when they are basically the same?
This monitor has failing LEDs. It's a Hanns G monitor. Seems quite rare though and overall LEDs in monitors are quite reliable. The old CCFL backlights were also very reliable however they do go a bit flickery after a years of use.

Got a shock off a plug today. Unplugged a table lamp and caught the pins and got a little shock off it. Definitely not the worst shock I've ever had, just made me drop the plug.

No sleeved pins on the plug then?

The plug is fine but there must be a capacitor inside keeping a charge as it shocked me when the pins touched me.
