Anybody have any experience with these boys?

They look quite interesting. LED lamps in the shape of a proper traditional HID lamp.
I reckon these would work very well in the optics of old lanterns and would be good 50 or 80w MBF replacements.
CP Lighting stock them for reasonable price so I may get some to play around with.

I've just ordered an 18w version to play with. Will see how it goes.

I've been using them for years with no issues? My preferred supplier tbh.

Interesting, thanks for the link. I've used the older heatsinked version to good effect on jobs. Hope this helps.

They use the other type of TrueForce here in milton keynes. Although i don't get why they don't use the HID style. Very temped to get one of these though! Would fit better than the other type in MK where the globe refactor has to be removed as the lamp is to big:

Those are brighter and also massively more expensive too!
It turned up today so I'll upload some photos later. It's bigger than I was expecting, like a 125w MBF.

Re: Philips Trueforce CorePro LED HPL
They are way to bright. We use 24w and 36w lamps and they arw brighter than the 50w or 70w CDO TT. If they cost more i wonder why they don't use the cheaper lamps?
