Not the first area to rip out almost new lanterns installed under a previous PFI scmene and certainly won't be the last. Where I am in Surrey, they ran a PFI starting in 2014 to replace all lanterns and columns. We got 55w PL-L Libra's and 140w Cosmo Arc's. All ripped out just a few years later for LED. Councils just love wasting your money....

You guys don’t know the half of it seriously… I was emailing my MP yesterday after hearing the price the counties term contractor Loren Stewart have put in to fit 2 new air source heat pumps at a primary school.
Amongst the boat migrants waste and corruption it’s no wonder the country feels poor despite being the worlds 5th biggest economy.
