Look at this topic on LG. Seems that when SOX lamps are shipped from Ebay Internationally through Ebays own postal service there, they are being stopped in their tracks by customs over there! Hope this never comes of anything over here! Thank heavens we use private postal companies! Seems that it has been happening with Mercury Lamps over there for even longer, i wonder how long until this spreads worldwide?

Well to be fair who can blame them for not wanting to ship things that contain big blobs of sodium that like to catch fire when exposed to moisture ect.

Been a thing for years... Nothing new at all... Does state in terms and conditions on most postage services

Have recently sent Mercury vapour and sox lamps through ebay's global shipping program without issues. I guess it's just bad luck if one gets stopped by international carriers. I doubt using a private carrier would be any different, in fact probably worse as they won't just give you a refund like ebay do
