Does anyone know if this is an MBFU lamp?

Anything to do with discharge lamps mercury, SON, SOX etc and their control gear! Do you just need information on how to run a lamp correctly? Post it here!

philips master hpi plus 400w/745 bu - What is this? - looks like it has mercury in it. I'm not after one, just seen an old industrial fitting and really wondering if the gear in this fitting (that has this type of lamp in it) will safely run 400w MBFU as I want a 400w MBFU gear.

Philips HPI Plus 400W/745 BU is an elliptical tri-band MH lamp that intended to be burned base-up, and can work on MBF as well as SON gear with ignitor.
I love see run-up and hot restrike of HID lamps, mainly on timed ignitors, and spectra of metal halide lamps.

Thanks for that. Handy to know. I'm on the hunt for an MBFU 400w choke and seen a high bay fitting for sale that has this lamp - maybe has a 400w choke in it
