Yep you could return the SOX lamp into the Lantern if the Gear is missing or has not been fitted it could be a GEC Z9580, as they have NO gear fitted, or if the Gear has been bypassed and can be reconnected the lantern would be the Z9582,
I would dump the LED Lamp and then refit a 35w SOX or 26w SOX-E lamp either rewire the Lantern with Gear or have it remote by using a GEC Z1616P, Transtar LXH35/55CI or similar 35/55w SOX Ballast. mounted in a Lighting Column or Gear Box.
