Big Ben to ditch the QL's

Well saw a little documentary on Big Ben which is undergoing quite a lot of work on the clock tower being completely rebuilt I also hear that they are going to LED the clock faces
Just wondering if anyone thinks it's worth a phone call to maybe try and salvage the QLs and the HF generators? Although I find QLs a bit boring they have proved to be a good lamp over the years.
Seeing ahmets QL on LG earlier reminded me about this!

It says it all. For years Induction has been lighting Big Ben trouble free I bet. I can almost guarantee LED wont last as long as QL. The small amount of money saved on LED would be used up on replacing the LED panels.
