******* blinders!!!

Postby AngryHorse » Wed May 03, 2017 9:58 pm

So me and Ash have just been out for our 9pm walk, its a perfect evening here, really warm, with a stiff breeze to keep me and thy dog cool.
All the colours of the spring trees can be seen coming out under our new LED street lighting, and they cast awesome, but creepy shadows on the road and footpath.
Then it was all spoilt by 2 500watt blinders on some blokes garage coming on with their PIR menace! ;fool , right into my face totally destroying my night vision!, and leaving two squares following me about wherever I looked! LOL

From the size of his yard behind his gates, 2 nice little coach lanterns with 11watt Genies, or the likes would have been ample, but no, two 500watt halogen, (angled straight out), at all of 3 metres, seemed to be the better option! ;doh

Just wait till they get a couple of 200w China special led floods up there! All that light compacted into a tiny little dot, you'll see it in your vision for weeks!

It sounds like they have something to guard if their using that amount of light to light up the whole neighbourhood. I know what you mean totally Over the Top, Years ago someone up the street had that sort of thing but instead of just the front of the house, the sides and back of the house were lit too. I'm guessing some 6kW relay with series PIRs. It was like totally Over the top!
