Staring at me through the trees at the back of our house are 4 VERY bright lights!, their on the infant school that both my girls attended, for years the whole building outer was with Thorn Piazzas.
As of tonight, their 4000k LED of some sort, (now don`t get me wrong, I love LED in 4000k), but these are like friggin Boeing 747 landing lights!!!!, total overkill for their mounting height!
Don`t know as yet if they have stuffed some corn cob thing in, or their complete new wallpacks?, but their way too bright in an `in your face` kind of way!
Thank god their on a part night cell, and won`t be beaming my bedroom up all night!

Make a formal written complaint, only way these places might learn. Also attach a carefully taken picture which makes it appear especially glary!

Now its daylight, they look like new fittings, (the bowls are far too clear to be the ageing and yellowing Piazzas?), I fitted some LED wallpacks on our coffee shop a few moths ago, but these were only 29watt Ansell Lynx`s, just enough to light the area they were designed for.
I can`t make out the make from the distance from our house, but the ones on the school look like their designed for a much higher mount height than the 3 metres their at?
I guess the installer was trying to match the 70watt SONs 6000 lumens literally!
