More depressing news.

Postby Kev » Tue Nov 06, 2018 8:07 am

Well this weekend me and Mr W were out on a private site that we look after repairing some 125W mercury lanterns. We were discussing maybe getting a bulk load of Lamps in for stock. This morning I was going to contact eye lighting about purchasing some 125W Es Lamps. This is what their uk website currently says... thanks £20 cheap shite LED.

That's a shame, tho I can't say I'm surprised! LED is going to kill everything eventually..... :(

What about their lamp production ?

It may well be the time to ask them about machinery going to scrap. In all seriousness, if anyone could actually do something about this then it's a few of us

They are Still in production for US market

I can still get 50, 75, 100, 175, 250, 400 and 1 KW MV

I dont think there MV production is scrapped
yet. Iwaski MV is about only decent MV left
in US as it second to Westinghouse lamps
and there still demand esp in lower wattages
in American Landscape lighting. Infact
they are Getting around the MV ballast
bans by making moon pulse lamps
for use on pulse start gear.

LED sucks for landscape lighting.
