It Ain't Worth That!

Put anything here that's badly designed/made, failed, catastrophically exploded or just an epic fail in a general sort of way.

Bit OTT I think....

From my local wholesalers - about £4 each, or from numerous lay-ins in skips everywhere - FOC!

It's not exactly in A1 condition either with scratches and corrosion on the top edge.

Not the worst price I've ever seen but still steep. There's 5x 2' lay-ins with 40w ballasts in the skip at work right now and I won't even bother getting them out as they're worthless and I have a box full anyway lol

That's the point I've reached with them. Got a HUGE stock now and can't store any more. I tried giving them away at previous meets and a few went, but comes a time where you can't save any more. Given new I can get these at £4 each still, £20 for a used version is taking the piss...

It is a 'buy it now' don't forget. I could list one of my 40w ballasts right now for £100, doesn't mean anyone's going to buy it.

I read this morning actually that eBay have started putting compulsory 'best offer' options on some listings now. This is likely due to this exact issue of the (possibly) millions of listings on eBay that people have over priced & thus remain on there for years & never sell.
