Coughtrie SFB16

Put anything here that's badly designed/made, failed, catastrophically exploded or just an epic fail in a general sort of way.

Those just annoy me! Coughtrie are missing a trick here to - if this stuff is so much in demand, as it's all the rage atm, they should just bring it back at half the price of the eBay stuff, they'd make a killing! All those swan-neck wellglass fittings and bulkheads that take as standard lamp would do well.

They annoy me too. Few years ago i got some coughtrie bulkhead from a job. I listed it on ebay and sold for £40. I accidentally under charged postage and never said anything. By time postage was paid paypal and ebay had took fees i barely made £30. What pissed me off to the absolute max is that a few days later i spotted it back on ebay painted in chrome for £104. I went absolutely mental.... its urm still listed for sale

£70 or whatever this seller is asking is a piss-take. I bought one of these recently for £26 posted, it was unused (I think, although a tad tatty from laying around) & It has the older potted ballasts too.

Just discovered during the course of some tidying up that I actually own one of these, BNIB that I'd completely forgotten about! Really should find somewhere to install some of these things, rather than just leaving them sat in a box in my workshop.
