That YouTube video seems to have attracted comments some of the most moronic, arrogant fucktards! Just check the comments some people have posted under that video on YouTube. More concerned with semantics than the fact that these things have a real potential to kill or injure someone!

The CE reputation has been blown out the water. Although I'm sure it is policed somewhere, these days standards and laws are put into statute but there are no resources to police it.

The set-up is now perfect. Buy a good off the internet from a seller that can disappear as quickly as he appeared, who got his stock from a company that is under so many alias' its untraceable. But the joke of it is you can't stop trade with China because no one else in the world these days makes anything as well as it will restrict world trade.

It seems to be one everything that comes out of China be it compliant or not. Didn't the CE mark replace the BSI - a standard which we had more control over?

Just brought two boxes (5 in each) 10w led lamps for £10 ish each at toolstation.. (Convenient for us matinance guy's.. )
