Some people are clearly uneducated, just go and look at what the DIY sheds charge for tubes and it's no wonder!

Worst I ever saw was a camping shop £8.50 for a crompton 8W white and £16 for a GE 4 pin 16W 2D ;wanker

Sadly, too many people really take the piss, especially with items like these which are not 'every day' for most people. The average consumer would have no idea what a fluorescent tube should cost, only people who are in the trade or buy them on a regular basis really have any idea.
