40W Thorn Arrowslim tube

I recently got a 40W/36W thorn arrowslim and it seems to take an unconventional tube size.
It appears to be a 3 & half foot fitting.
Anyone who used arrowslims know anything about it?

Yes. Tubes were originally 40W rated but now 38W. They work the same. They can still be obtained, just about. They are 3.5' long.

Could make an offer and get them cheaper but I forked out a bit for warm white.
It's a really nice fitting for 830's.

Placed order yesterday afternoon.
£2.90 postage.
Arrived THIS EVENING!
Never seen anything like it!
10/10 postage!
The tubes are nice and the fitting works.
Will post picture of it running.
Sadly these are new tubes and when you put them on first the middle is almost purple, might as well put no mercury in at all!
Once they warm up however they are a lovely 830 colour and the tiny fitting does a very good job!
