Dear Calderdale CC has been out and started to replace a some of the SOX I've reported however am I right in thinking when a SOX comes the EOL it just stops working?

The council replaced some of the others have now failed. They just seemed to pop like corn. I notice one or two side roads have been covered to LED. I'm wondering how long before they give up the battle and replace the SOX with LED.

Most councils use Philips lamps from Cosmo to SON, however when it comes to SOX it seem they would rather use the inferior Osram labeled ones, rather than Hamiltons own Masters, so its not much of a surprise that their going out everywhere?

Philips were the only sox used here in the midlands.. Occasionally i stumbled over an osram..
