Just wondering if anyone knows of a square shaped HF dimmable ballast that'll run 60w circular lamps, I guess one for a 58w linear lamp would work fine.

Thank.

The Tridonic 'Excel' or 'Xitec' ranges might have what you're looking for. I've seen 58W on circlines too. Hope this helps.

Many thanks. I've looked at Tridonic & other popular brands and can't find any square ballasts that'll run 60w T9 circular lamps or 58w T8 linear tubes which have similar specs and should run 60w lamps just fine.

My plan was to fit 2x 60w circular fittings in my living room converted to HF dimmable, but I think I've given up on the idea now, will probably just fit standard pendants & some type of dimmable lamps, maybe Hive LED lamps which I already have a couple of spare.

The 60W circular fixture in my parents kitchen uses a 58W ballast

Would be actually sick if I could get my hands on a dimmable 60W ballast, but then again I want to leave that Magnatek ballast running ;cool

I wonder if a 55W or 60W T5c ballast would do it? If not maybe a 57W PL-T ballast? Those are about the only ones in that sort of size I can think of that come in the square form factor. No idea if the currents/voltages would match for a T9 circline though.
