Bodged RSF Sign Light

Put anything here that's badly designed/made, failed, catastrophically exploded or just an epic fail in a general sort of way.

Bodged RSF Sign Light

Postby Oliver » Thu May 21, 2020 11:02 am

The sign light is designed to run with 2 x 8w tubes. For some reason this sign light has been modified to run with a PL lamp. Looks terrible. The ballasts don't seem to be connected so maybe the PL holder is connect straight to the mains to run those LED PL lamps.

Yeah, I'm not paying that for one especially in that condition. I know of a few and wouldn't mind saving one. Most are dropping to bits now.

First one is alright but the rest are knackered.

The top one was last seen working when the sign lights there were relamped back in 2012. I don't think they have seen new tubes since!
