Chinese heat lamps - fail!

They just look like oversized mushroom lamps!

I have never seen these used to keep food warm. Normally an IR Quartz Heat Bulb is used.

I've seen ceramic ones that plug into normal lampholders.

They look highly irregular - missing their reflective coating. I bet they're not fused either.

We have some display cases (for lack of more precise description) in college cafeteria, that indeed use 3x E27 heat lamps of this shape. They are probably 10..15ish years old. The lamps in them are with Al reflector, Red glass, and the filament is in the correct position vs. the reflector. Probably Helios reptile lamps
