People have gone out of their minds! Surely Osglim neon lamps aren't worth that much, they weren't even that rare when they were new! Also, this one has no box and is heavily used and blackened!!!

No, they are definitely NOT worth that. Sadly, jokers like this push up the prices as others listing the same, see stuff like this, assume it's worth a fortune, then list for a similar price.

Whoever buys it at that price is the moron, although I doubt anybody actually will. This may just end up being yet another item that's listed on eBay for years and years & never sells

Nobody who knows anything about lighting would be mug enough to buy that at that price - or in fact at all given how heavily used it is. I saw this some time ago and as I predicted then it will be for sale for some time - probably years before the listing is removed due to no one buying it. It doesn't matter how much people try and sell this stuff for, others who auction will get what its actually worth based on maximum bids. These sort of ads I don't believe will influence the market in the long term
