Can anyone help identify this choke?

Postby PeterG » Mon Dec 28, 2020 3:37 am

Please see attached photos - I'm hoping someone has one of these with a clear label they could photograph for me so I can photoshop a new one, see what each terminal is connected to and of course confirm what it is designed to run. What I can make out is:

Type _ _ 109
For 85/_0/45 watt
220/2_0 volts 50 cycles
Sodium vapour lamp
AEI

Then at the bottom left is a partial code: sk4569-2

Any help on this greatly appreciated

Sounds like it is for the old 45/60/85w SO/H dewar jacket And SOI/H low pressure sodium lamps as it says sodium vapour plus they are the old SO/H AND SOI/H lamp wattages

If no one here knows how to wire it i think Gavin should probably know

Cheers for that. Fingers crossed I'll get to the bottom of it and get a wiring diagram! Glad I've got a choke for 45 SO ...assuming it works of-course!
