Who knows this ebay seller?

Postby PeterG » Sun Mar 28, 2021 2:29 am

Just curious, but does anyone know who this ebay seller is?:
molossus2 based in Nottingham?

Not interested in what he is selling at present but his ad wording is ...how can I put this ...'interesting'.

Yes very curious. I can imagine he has been messed about at some stage. I'm not sure I'd be putting that sort of wording in an ad but I can sense the frustration. Never used to be like this in this game, what a world we live in!

Sounds like an arsehole tbh.
If you're calling potential customers ‘twats’ then I don't know why they're bothering, even if I wanted it that'd put me off

Danny - yes I've heard horror stories but I don't think it'd put me off if I had to sell up - never planning to of-course but god only know what some might be pushed to off the back of this year long economic shut down.

- Yes I know what you mean. What raised my eye brows a little was the part about 'selling for a mate' ...but it seems later in that ad that this 'mate' would obediently smash up a lantern if this seller wanted him to ...hmmmm. Something smells a bit fish and chippy about all that. Anyway, ho hum...

I think I'd just avoid - seller sounds like a bit of a 'twat' to use his own words..... If you talk about customers that way, not sure how serious you'd really be?

Yes, plenty of time wasters on eBay, I agree, but not everyone is!

To be fair, he might have had a lot of collection only auctions being won by people who then ask to post out and then pull out leaving him with fees ect to pay.
Doesn't look good when put like that in the listing though!
