It has a dim and bright setting which I have never seen on these single tube ones. I can't imagine that being very good for the tube considering these things underdrive the tubes on a good day!

Under, under drive the tube cold cathode, lovely.
You could probably sit and watch the socks grow on the tubes in those

All of these 12v fittings are pants, good riddance to them I say! Low voltage DC battery systems such as those in caravans is somewhere that I'd actually recommend LED, shocking I know lol!
