Saw a nice Thorn installation today...

Went to a drama studio room in my college today (don't do drama lol) that was lit by a Thorn EMI "Pipeline" setup in red! A sort of square ring of red pipe with fluros and louvers in... It's been a few years since I've seen one of those. There were also T8 Arrowslims, PP with original T8s and 2D drum lights round there. Oh, and some original MR16 recessed halogens which must have seen very little use. College is mostly LED but the older bit still has a couple of rooms lit with old PPs and T12s (GE Hungary ones) and a room still lit in full with Superslims which must be from the 1960s!
As a side note my old school which I left only 2 years ago was lit in its entirety with 4x 18w Thorn Quattro surface mounted fittings... There were also old Thorn downlights, can lights and Pyramid shade 2D fittings, the building was built in 83-84 and it seems they just went full blown Thorn! (Apart from outside which had GEC lanterns in the carpark and Phosco floodlights).
