Hello, everyone,
here is a small overview from an export catalog (70s) from POLAM for the available mv lamps:
The design of the mv reflector lamps still corresponds exactly to the old shape that PHILIPS used.

Thanks for this extract Olav.
I don't believe that I have ever seen an actual Polam LR or LRR lamp before.

A small addition with MBT-lamps:
The "Mix Eu" types were mainly produced for export to western countries,
the "Mix F" types were mainly produced for the domestic Polish market and the Comecon countries.

very interesting datasheets of sorts!
I had no idea that Polam made a 2000W mercury lamp! would be very interesting to see what such a beast looked like (I know Polam Mercury lamps tended to be based off Philips designs so I wonder if their 2Kw lamps where also?)
its also most interesting to see their largest Self ballasted lamp is rated for 450W, rather then the 500W you commonly in Europe, I wonder if those 450W Polam lamps where like the US and Japanese 450W SBMV lamps, which ran the ballasting filament at a lower temperature compared to European lamps
this gave them a much longer lamp life, but at the expense of red light output of course

Hello Lightbulbfun,
there is only a small picture with a lamp LR 2000:
This is probably a press photo. Unfortunately, there is no exact information about the photo. But at least there is this small photo.
