Among my haul of lighting things yesterday was a GE 13w PL-C lamp with an inbuilt starter. It says on the package
Starter bottle in lamp contains Ti^3H
Could anybody help me identify what isotope this is? My best guess is Tritium.

Hello,
It sounds like Tritium to me.

For various british starters I know, that the inside of the aluminium can was painted with radium point as a radiation source. Other like the german osram and dutch phi's starters had an opening to allow light to ender as radiation source.
