Aliexpress spectrometers are very expensive

After seeing the spectrometer RRK have in LG, I searched for one at Aliexpress, but they are
fucking expensive .
Why is this?

Probably because they are complex bits of kit tbh.

They are relatively small and portable compared to spectrometers like that of Ocean Optics.
Even if they have touch screen, I don't think they should be such expensive, unless they are based on Android OS like smartphones (Their displays are indeed looks very similar to smartphones).
