hmm, they’ve gone to the trouble of fitting an E27, but missed the opportunity to make use of the twin cut outs and make this old Sonpak a double lamp fitting?

Been tempted to actually buy one of these and restore it to HID as the bodies look quite tidy.

Even with just an E27 and no gear, it is by far better than anything new you can get for 30P

I wonder if the gear is still inside and yeh I agree mark it does look really clean.

He says "Some of these are fitted with capacitors for another type of bulb this one is not" in the description so it sounds like the gear may be stripped out in this one but not in his other one?
Still good condition housings that could be re-geared if necessary just a shame they've been butchered to start with.
