So I got this Britesource T12 tube that is in the utility room since Dec 2019 and for some amazing reason it keeps going on and on despite all the significant hours of use and frequent switching cycles to this day!!! Mind you it does look worn out (blackening and blue glowing ends)

Anyone had same experience with a Chinese fluorescent tube that has managed to last beyond expectation?

2013 era Osram Energy Saver (T8 Halophosphate) 36W/765 last very well

2018+ era Hyundai-branded 36W/765 (unknown manufacturer, possibly FSL ?), rated 2600lm (vs. 2500lm all Osram/Philips 36W/765), appear (by eye) to have a bit better CRI, and have some afterglow - possibly contain a little of the triphosphor phosphors in them - appear to last fairly well

90s T12s with inside etch iirc - Were wild hit and miss, some tubes could be DOA or go in a few weeks, and a couple out of the box would go for years - typically developing significant rings or spots quite early. Something definitely varied a lot from tube to tube

In contrast -
Pretty much anything T8 with 2 round insulators around the pins, and a bit inexact endcap shape - usually dont last much
