Sad day, but the "day" was not today

The day it really hit me hard that "Gaash are gone" was someday about 4 years ago, when i seen the familiar dawn logo and "Made in China" on the same label, slapped on the most disappointing fitting of the lot

A company i worked for were looking for 2ft modular fittings for new openspace spaces. They insisted on LED, but i pushed them to go get something decent and not crap. They ordered multiple fittings from multiple companies as samples. The ones that showed up from Gaash were nothing more than the cheapest edge-lit flat panels

In the end we went with some fittings that appear to have been made locally by some small unknown company, not the greatest assembly quality either, but at least they tried to make a decent fitting with reasonable LED array size and optics

An unfortunate name in the UK since Gash is slang for a very hairy lady garden :D

The name is Gaash, not Gash.
