I only changed because I was using those ‘wholesale standard’, SS4Ds that switches all your outside lights on each time a cloud goes over! ;rfl , I could, precise set the Sangamo to 15 minute intervals on the switching times, so you can get a custom on and off time to suit dusk to dawn here.
Oh, and because I love the old Sangamo street lighting days of my youth! ;cheers

70 Lux is still quite early, our old P42s were set to 80, and they were given an extra 15 minutes for SOX run up?, what are the LED ones set at, as they have no run up time needed?

It seems to be around 35-20 lux most are set at however Alan (HIDLamp) has some in his area set to 10 lux!

The P42s here were all set at 70 lux but seems to depend on the eye used so i dont ever think most thermals were as accurate as todays cells are

I can remember Surrey using 100 lux back in the day. Then they went to 70 and finally 55....

The old Eleco GR 150’s on my road were using 55lux cells and the SON Airtrace 2’s are set to 35 I reckon.

I’d like some 10 lux cells!
