The festive period is just around the corner and trees will be going up and decorated. As part of Project SYEU (Screw You EU) I'm trying to persuade "The Radar" to dump the LED lights and go for something more traditional.

I will never use led christmas lights around my house. Horrible bright glary lights. I always go tor the good old soft light of incandescent and always will.

Its soft white LED this year again to avoid a row! I think I need to "replace" them this summer time ;)

I have a real mix, the main tree does have LED though I cut the flasher off one set as it defaults to flashing on power up and I hate flashing Christmas lights. Outside I have a GLS festoon set and four coloured 18w fluorescents. I have a couple of vintage 20 sets in the kitchen diner from 1985 and 1986 which I have a good stock of bulbs to keep them going.
