More yard light woes!

Postby AngryHorse » Fri Apr 21, 2017 10:30 pm

Had another 11 columns tripping the RCD on our yard lights today, found the fault on column number 8 out of the 11, and disconnected the offending item!, (another one of our shitty LENA LED lanterns full of water).
However I also found 4 service cut outs, 3 full of pigeon shit and nesting material, due to the open tops on their posts!!, and another smashed in half, and held together by the fuse cartridge! ;doh

They also all have WISKA boxes, zip tied!, to the old flood arms, and also with water in them, I went up to Gemma, and told her I want to totally re-do the lot, and start putting proper outreach arms on them!, she agreed, but as the original lanterns are still under warranty I can`t change them yet for something better 'pissed , but a tidy up of the wiring and service cut outs is well over due!

Lanterns are 3 years, this year, with a 5 year warranty.
