Thorn LED....

Postby Slyspark » Wed May 10, 2017 11:02 pm

Just had a cracking idea for conversion of some 55w PL-L wall-washers to LED. I could use that fantastic new product Thorn are offering - Arrowslim LED Tape! That'd be just perfect to bodge into a wall-washer, no?

On a serious note, anyone seen Thorn's new website? http://thorn-eco.com/

If that's what they want to become then I think (and hope) their days are numbered.

That is a pretty horrible website. Why the silly names and cartoon pictures? I just don't get it.

This isn`t the first time they have `caricatured` lighting stuff, Atlas were doing the same thing in the 50/60, (giving lamps eyes)!, but what is embarrassing about all this is what Kev has pointed out, its all bought in Chinese shit!

What on earth is that awful site? Who names a light Alice, Tom, Mike, Eve, etc) what happened? was someone in that office giving birth to her first child and tried to name it while trying to carry on with her work or was some guy just thinking about all the prostitutes he had sex with and while doing his work he named his lights after some right ole dirty tarts. I wouldn't even name my own poo after Annie. ARE YOU SURE YOU DON'T WANT TO NAME YOUR DAFT LED LIGHTS AFTER PEPPA PIG CHARACTERS THORN? OH WAIT LETS MAKE A BULK HEAD AND NAME IT INDIANA JONES. Nice work on making a site for a 2yr old. what a piece of poop!
