I think I would have issued a bigger fine for going LED...

Ive got a 70w SON on the front, 55w SOX on the side, 2x8W T5 Sign light on the front fence to light the street sign and an 18w SOX on the back. Not bothered my neighbours i dont think they hive a fuck lol. The council / landlord havent bothered me about them all either and theyve been up 4/5 year now some of them

It was probably the glare from that piece of shit that caused the too brighness issue!

It looks like a circa 50w LED angled almost vertical, far too bright and glare riddled. I'm seeing crappy installations like that more and more, and if it was opposite my house, damn right I'd be complaining too!

Also I can't help but wonder if the gentleman in the story had been asked politely to sort it, but wasn't interested in other residents concerns (being a c*** about it lol).

I have three lights on my house that stay on all night, 2x formerly 70w SON floods now fitted with 20 & 23w CFLs, and a 10w LED (yes I know) on the other end that's mounted very high and angled only a few degrees from horizontal so very little glare. No complaints at all from any of my two neighbours lol.

Makes you wonder how much more there is to this, it's just one side of the story. presumably it's not his home to carry out any sort of work on without permission.

I have well, I can't be bothered to list them all but if anyone started complaining about my lights they would be told to fuck off!
