Ive seen the odd one in the older Philips MI36 lanterns that others have posted pics of. I see them more commonly in the larger sizes as crazy as it sounds

These old Philips UK made ballasts are always good to see

they are in abundance here as all mi36s here are 36w, i have a few of these you need a sx72 ignitor and 4.4uf cap to go with them its always best to use these to light 36w lamps and not use 55w gear

I don't have the capacitor or the ignitor sadly ...or a 36w sox-e lamp

fluorescent pm me if you need a capacitor i have a spare they are impossible to get now but you can get sx72s on ebay and 36w e lamps

Cool thanks for the offer. A couple of 8.4uF in series (4.2uF) will be near enough though, especially at the higher ~250v we receive here. There's some 4.4uF caps on Ebay right now too, BNOS Philps branded Cambridge Capacitor items
