german made not british lamp are they made by osram perhaps

The first lamp I ever bought was one of these, but in 80 watt, the one I dropped out of the loft, onto a tin of shoe polish! Confused

Yes, I'm sure this is made by Osram. I had one of these but haven't seen it for a while. Equally as good as a British Thorn lamp.
