Ordered some copper crimping tube to make the little inserts.
To fit gear for all tubes will need to make fitting 3ft+ I reckon.

Why wouldn't it? You'd have to design a thin PCB and design the electronics to drive however many tubes you want but it's possible. Could even do it on a breadboard-like material or something like that. I could print it. Actually been looking at doing one of those exact fittings to do dual.

Yeah, you definitely wouldn’t be able to fit magnetic gear inside.

It's a shame. I'd rather drive them magnetically. I reckon you could just about get away with it electronically 2ft+ or 3ft+ magnetically but these fittings'll probably melt Razz I've seen people cast 3D printed parts in tin with high temp silicone.

You’d get two 36w chokes inside for series operation, but not 3 lol.

I've seen really small 36w chokes. I bodged one in a netaline that had a damaged wire with all the magic sticking out of it. I reckon it can be cheekily done but it'd get so hot it'd melt the lamp holders. lol.

This looks superb. I think these 3D printers are amazing and provide a great opportunity to make things that cannot be bought!
