GEC 5ft fitting - Cover Removal (Genius!)


This is how the cover secures onto this GEC 5ft 80w fitting. It's a very simple and tidy solution which I don't know why I haven't seen more? The cover is a slight 'banana' shape hence it springs up when released, the shape keeps the cover securely fitted and prevents rattling.
