Bastardised iGuzzini Nuvola
These used to run 150w double-ended halides mounted in floods that aim the light at the reflectors for a very low glare uniform light spread.
At some point they were bastardised with some LED floods but after seeing them lit for the first time at night not long ago you have to admit, they still do a very good job despite the hackery.
That's not a time exposure either, was hand-held at 1/6th of a second. (IS ftw)
Located near the Liverpool Cruise terminal on the pier head.
RMS Queen Mary 2 in the background.

They do the job and will mean less maintenance as long as they don't go faulty.

I’ve never liked stuff like this, but they do seem to do a good job!
