For PIR use I guess it is acceptable. You could have used a 70w SON flood light but I doubt you would want one of them going all night long.

Just spent sime time dicking about with the sensitivity and the duration. This actually has a really nice colour to it tbh... you'd swear it was halogen!

As long as it lasts at least 10 years it’s alright. The trusty halogen floodlight on the house has been there for about 15 years and it still works and hasn’t let water in.

It's Osram (fuck that stupid Ledwank name) so it will actually be 20w and 3000k with probably 80+ cri. Good choice I say!

It’s funny isn’t it, like Ollie mentions, the simple, age old halogen floods never let a drop of water in, but when all these single diode cheap Chinese floods came out, the one thing the Chinese didn’t copy was that simple glass/gasket seal that had worked so well for so many years!

That's true but quite a few of them didn't let you in either to change the lamp lol. I've got a couple of Thorn Halines and the are belting fittings tbh!
