Indo ST:QUDO
After knowing about these being for sale for ages, I decided it was time to purchase one, knowing I would never have another opportunity.

The Indo ST:QUDO induction lantern range was available in 5 wattages, this being the mid 100w example. I have to admit, Indo to me are known for their shitty quality lanterns but I look at this and I think the opposite. Its very well built, everything can be replaced with minimal effort, and light output is absolutely phenomenal, however the amount of air vents below the generator and above the spigot entry could have been thought out better.

I find induction absolutely fascinating, there's absolutely nothing to go wrong on the lamp. Its such a damn shame that LED came in so soon after these were designed, as it really hindered their sales, coupled with their stupidly high price tag. Hearing stories of induction being installed 15 years ago and still working today, and then LED lasting a few weeks, months, or even failing out the box, makes me wonder why the hype for LED is so high. Otherwise I'm pleased I have an example of this now rare lamp technology inside a lantern in the collection.
