Fluorescent stairway lighting

Spotted these slimline T5 battens in The Cavern Walks in Liverpool.
This small shopping centre was once the place to be seen and to buy the latest fashion stuff and was the haunt of many a footballer's WAG's but in recent years all the big names have moved out and the place is almost empty, a shadow of it's former self.
I think a big problem is most people have simply forgotten that it is here...
As a result lighting maintenance is lacking with quite a few dead lamps here...
