Philips PL E-T Pro 15,000 hour CFL lamp
A nice recent find, these CFLs really represent the climax in terms of CFL production quality. A few years later production would move to China, where quality would drop somewhat.

This style of Philips CFL with these tubes were very good, they lasted ages! The only negative with these is that when they get very old, they would take a while to warm up.

I got 3x of these exact one although with different packaging (check out my LG posts from 2023 in the CFL album)

My father had a Philips PL E-T 23W cool daylight Netherlands lamp, at his kitchen of his former apartment, that lasted all of his living period on that apartment. Even when new, this lamp started pure violet argon, and took 2 min to run-up.
My mother also had a Philips PL E-T 23W cool daylight Netherlands lamp, but it had a ballast failure after lots of years.

That pure argon violet glow is beautiful and would love to see that

I think that the main reason for this, is that Philips used Amalgam to provide the mercury dose in the Philips PL E-T lamps.

That is right hence especially in their enclosed CFLS, that maintains the optimum operating temperature to keep the right mercury pressure
