Westinghouse carbon filament lamp made in Britain
Another unusual recent Ebay find. Despite the filament being 100% intact, I cannot get it to light - I suspect this could be the base contacts. This lamp is one of the oldest lamps in my entire collection, along with another Philips-made carbon I have. Unusual to see the Westinghouse name on a British product! (The etch is hard to see, but it reads: Westinghouse - British Made - D - 250 16 (candlepower I'm guessing?))
