Eleco railway lantern

This wins the award of being the smallest and most downright basic top entry lantern of all time. I believe this was made for railways and associated areas being that it specifically mentions track or road side. Its believed to be an Eleco lantern, but as of yet the model number remains a complete mystery.

Featuring a Holophane 'Duo Dome' glass ring, the lantern arrived in immaculate condition. The reducer in the top entry thread leads me to assume it would have been mounted on a much smaller domestic swan neck bracket rather than a street lighting bracket. I will give this a thorough clean up in time, restoration will simply comprise of cleaning the glass and spraying the canopy to hammered silver.
