Forgotten GEC Z5560 lantern in London
Pictured in an alleyway near Waterloo station in London. Long disconnected, but very nice to see! An extra bonus is the fact that the lantern still has its original GEC bracket and control box.

This is actually a Z5560 because of the wide neck on the canopy. The Z5580 has a very slim neck similar to the Z5590, but shorter.

Always nice to spot hidden gems like this. Sadly tho, most will just sit there and slowly rust until someone deems them a safety risk and they get removed, or fall off the wall of their own accord. Unless someone manages to save it!
