One for Kev this is ! Another central battery system maintined cinema light, this time just a brass/pot lampholder screwed onto a 3/4 conduit elbow ! basic, but it does the job, looks well old school. was still in daily use till 1999

Takes me back to the old plaza in Truro when I was a kid they had similar stuff to this. All gone now though

Such a shame the rag heads brought the old cinema and turned it in to a restaurant! I hate their food! Also looks like it's wired in pyro?

this looks older that is actually is, dates from about 1968 when the central battery system was installed all using 15 watt 115 volt ES pygmy lamps
