Probs the tube is slightly overdriven or uses slightly more mercury to make it warm up faster - I think it is the latter Smile

Actually just had another look at the photo and noticed there is an A in the model number, which I reckon stands for amalgam, so yeah its likely to do with the Hg content Smile

Yes thought it would be the case what Nick said, if it was amalgam it would have a lovely but dim pink glow at startup Smile
