Interesting use of one of these for street lighting Very Happy, wonder how the lamp got broken?

Where is the gear ? I would guess the lamp is actually an MBFT. In some of them the filament is quite close to where this one is broken, which might suggest thermal shock as one of the reasons

At the swimming pool and the GYM of Kibbutz Givat Hayim Icud, there were two capsule fixtures similar to this, with two Osram HWL 250W MBTF lamps.
